Title of Work: Best Foot Forward

‘Best Foot Forward’ A series of linked drama workshops taking time out to look at our journeys in life to date – memories, family, friends, work, special days etc – and then to the future, both in a down to earth fashion about what people still want to achieve with their lives, but also with a light-hearted look at an ideal world and fantasy futures. We had a brilliant time during our ‘Here & Now’ drama workshops. Using reminiscence, storytelling and performance, we created stories, revisited memories and looked to the future. Sometimes words weren’t enough, so we used props – objects from round our homes to demonstrate how we were feeling. Everyone’s imaginations were working on overdrive – the participants were so creative! The sessions were happy, sometimes melancholy, always fun and uplifting.
