On a cold, Friday night in December and January a group of wonderful ladies from Knocknagin community hall met to dance, tell stories and drink tea.
We danced away the winter blues by turning our yarns and tales of old into beautiful duets and trios. The ladies embraced dance with an open heart, and a warmth that shone brightly for all to see and feel.
Their stories of the 'good ole days' flowed over tea and cake and developed into the most expressive and beautiful choreography. Their dancing duets and trios enabled their stories to come to life, their laughter and tales exuded from their very being, from their dancing bodies.
These ladies are only getting started, they are living well through dance and story and have so many more tales to tell.
