Artists in Residence in the NHSCT

Helen bradbury

Helen Bradbury was born in 1963, in the Midlands England. On obtaining a 1st class hons degree from Wolverhampton College of Art in 1987 where she specialized in painting and printmaking, Helen moved to the North of Ireland in 1988. From this time, alongside the development of her work in the studio she has also evolved an engaged creative practice with a strong social ethos, spanning 3 decades. She has shown her personal artwork publicly and through exhibition with numerous and diverse communities across Ireland. The resulting social interaction, dialogue and understanding often informs the development of her thinking for her paintings in the studio. Over the years, her practice has led to invitations to work on privately commissioned artworks and has created connection with galleries, individuals and artistic bodies of Ireland, the UK, America, and Tel Aviv.
