I work at Acute Mental Health InPatient Centre Belfast City Hospital as a Healthcare Support Worker, and have been in the Trust for 8 years. Working in the midst of tough times has been difficult over the past year. In April 2020 I was assigned a different role; adjusting to change and new procedure was out of my comfort zone. However, over time I adapted to my role and discovered more opportunities, alongside my new colleagues. I felt that it was important to submit work to Hidden Talents Online Exhibition so we could continue to encourage and inspire people through art, and to enable the recognition of the talented artists in our community In April 2020 my family and I were meant to go on a big holiday to Italy, but due to the current pandemic it was cancelled. However, we still longed for the views of the coastline and sunshine…. So I decided to create this cross-stich piece of The Cinque Terre on the Italian Riviera Coastline.
