City Way is an older people’s day centre. Many who attend may have a physical disability, sensory impairment or may be frail and have dementia or mental health issues. Arts Care project artist, Clare McComish delivered an eight-week programme using the theme, ‘You’re a Diamond’. The project initially consisted of arts, crafts and creative writing workshops culminating in more focused sessions developing self-portraits with acrylic paint on canvases.
