These artworks celebrate some of life’s lessons learned. This group from Meadows Day Centre enjoyed the challenge of learning some new art techniques including collage, painting and cyanotype mixed media project. Throughout the sessions we enjoyed discussing the little gems of wisdom that come from experience that can be passed as a reminder of living life well.
The group enthusiastically engaged in new artistic techniques creating lots of individual artworks that would collage together to make a paper patchwork of colour, pattern texture and text. We discussed childhoods, life occupations, areas lived, families and travel while incorporating the little diamonds of wisdom gained throughout life.
The artworks comprise a triptych of colour which will be exhibited in their newly decorated centre after the ‘You’re A Diamond’ exhibition.
