I’ve worked in the NHS for 39 years and I have worked in Cardiology for 35 of those years, The Covid pandemic led me to work outside my comfort zone. I have worked in Renal Transplant and the Nightingale Step-down wards. I retire at the end of June 2021. This has been a tough year but I have worked with some amazing people and had the privilege of caring for those who needed it most. I wanted to contribute to this exhibition to share a sense of hope. Working on this helped to give a different focus and perspective. In Winter gardens die back but come Spring and Summer they burst back into life.
