I have worked for the Non Ionising Radiation Group for the Regional Medical Physics Service for 7 years, following a degree in Physics at Queen’s. The style of work has changed slightly over the last year. I have adapted to working at home more. However the nature of my work has still allowed for some change of scenery, as I test equipment through hospitals across Northern Ireland. I have enjoyed this flexibility and variation.

The work in the Exhibition can be enjoyed by all. This year, it will be a bit different – being online but this will allow it to be accessed by all, at any time. We all need something light hearted and creative to take our minds of things this year.

I have always enjoyed photographing flowers, so I took the theme, “Blossoming”, very literally. I was fortunate to participate in the Belfast Trust’s Here4U online Photography class for staff in autumn 2020. This gave me a hobby that I can enjoy from my own home, garden or local walks during lockdown.
